Ok...you keep that angle covered....among all the others out there.
If it was a situation where somebody thought "time was up", seems like a bigger gun would have been used to ensure the outcome.
If Chloroquine/zinc works...the developers would have known that. It would be a big "maybe the virus will work, maybe it will get stopped first" kinda decision.

I dunno, maybe that's just a hole in my tin-foil. ;-)
