Everything really is very simple in the end. And the little stories

we were told when young ....... which most people forget ....... are so very instructive.

I recall the story of the little Dutch boy who saw a tiny hole in the dike that was leaking water and he plugged his little finger in the hole to stop the leak until help arrived.

The little boy is a leader. He had vision. He saw the problem early and took action. Instantly.

This may seem trivial or silly. But everything operates like this. The complexity is in our collective head.

We now have leaders who wait for big holes to form in the dike, hold press conferences, wave their egos about like national flags and then throw everyone's livelihood into sandbags to seal the holes.

Until the next leak.
