My sense is it is sooner rather than later that these shutdowns begin to end. This simply cannot go on. A two week “time out” makes sense.
Two weeks seems optimistic IMO. I have a friend who is an American Airline's pilot. He told me they have over 400 airplanes parked right now and are losing $50 million a day. They have a lot of cash, over 8 billion, but with a lot of debt. Even they can't take a prolonged pause because it might mean more planes get parked.
