Oracle and Sybase plan to launch the next major releases of their respective
application servers at the JavaOne trade show in March.
...
Meanwhile, Oracle will deliver a beta version of its Oracle Enterprise Application
Sever 4.0. The product will be CORBA 2.0-compliant, and will support CORBA's
Object Transaction Server and Sun's Java Transaction Services.

"The Enterprise edition will enable developers to write Java code and IDL objects,"
said John Somook, director of product marketing at Oracle.

Also, Oracle next week will post the beta version of the Oracle Application Server
