Met many who experienced similar in Pharma as jobs for raw materials got shifted all over the world.

Thinking hard about going back to the mayhem.

I used to make jokes that it was easier to walk into a fortune 500 company in the USA and sell them a trip to mars, than it was to sell them a screwdriver. I sold a lot of trips to mars.

They have perverted the idea of supply chain down to a handful, and now they don't have enough bandwidth when they need it. Same for mask raw materials, etc. This is where the USA made the biggest mistakes. I'm looking at nurses and shortages of hand sanitizer and think WTF did you go to fucking school? This is the kind of thing that is all over the news, and yet, i'm watching the disaster that is US public health implode.

I remember sitting in rooms discussing "let the chinese have all the low value early steps, and we'll keep all the high value end steps, and our jobs!"... LOL

All is not lost. Team USA is still #2 and they will be back at #1 i think before this is all over with,,, but everybody will pay for it.
