Agree completely. I'm being attacked publicly and privately, and I've never pumped a position or point of view the whole time I've been on SI. And if people who run those threads allow that sort of nonsense, including covert racism, then I won't be posting there either. What were once good investing threads have become echo chambers where everyone espouses the same views, and anything different opens you to attack. It seems there is a concerted effort to silence people, as if someone who posts on an internet message board has the ability to move markets (rolling my eyes here). I knew nerves were going to get testy as the market continued down, but I didn't know how bad it would get. As I've told you many times, Kirk, I appreciate your integrity and the willingness to continue posting good insight in spite of being attacked. Hopefully things are about as crazy as they can get, so we can hopefully return to an environment where people can discuss ideas and share information without being attacked. I'm hopeful, anyway.
