I'm probably overly sensitive to over paying government workers with my taxes and how the more of them there are, the more votes they get for higher taxes, especially here in CA where they all want to raise taxes for the general fund to keep funding their pensions.

But...the idea of $3,000 to everyone... even government workers told to stay home and still collect salaries, or anyone getting a pension or Social Security, seems a huge mistake. (or whatever number Da Prez announces any minute now...) Will double dip pensioners working for a pay check on their third pension but told to stay home get even more money from the government?

Then some want anyone getting a paycheck... I don't get a paycheck since I'm self employed but have costs to keep household workers paid while told to stay home.

Tough to get it right... and fair.
