Number of ICU beds per 100k of population. Hat tip to elmatador: Message 32624160 It would be an interesting exercise to determine how many CV patients per 100k of them require ICU treatment because, obviously, once ICUs are overwhelmed, quality of care goes down no matter how many are available. This stat shows that, depending on location and availability, as well as health care worker status, we are probably but not necessarily in better shape than the ROW. Sorry for weasel language but there are lots of moving parts to the issue rather than simple number of available ICU beds.
