i don't think that economics is the key for the next few weeks. Physchology and astrology might be the ticket. (New corp earnings projections and macroeconomics will be unknowable for a while.) How will the flood of bad health and economic news affect investing psychology? I wonder who is doing the selling? Is the smart money leaving or the dumb money? are mutual funds involved big time yet? OT -- I made some dumb sells today and am 80% cash. Does anyone think that today is the bottom? Yes, I have to rebuy at some point -- in a few more drop days, I may be compelled.... (Bought some pref shares, just like the good old days of 2009.) be safe. >>>but I need to discuss with people who know about economics...
