Joe and Tom,

Intel and VLSI are both great companies, for different reasons. However INTC is selling for nearly 6 times sales, VLSI for just over 1 times sales. Although Intel has very high margins, the wireless division of VLSI, their fastest growing sector, is internally generating over 20% aftertax IMO, with the rest of the company bringing the overall number down to 10-15% range, still decent numbers for any semiconductor company at present.
