I am more concerned about the effects if the fiscal policy than the pandemic. The way the US (and some in EU) are going about it, we will have massive inflation ahead. I switched our retirement funds to cash and bond before the worst of the market. But there is still plenty of damage there. I was planning to make up for the lost savings by reinvesting in good companies at beaten down valuations. But now I think I will put at least half of it into gold.
