I wonder if GEC-Marconi is the mystery 3rd contract? Also, what does BA mean by "introduced to the fleet". F18s are flown by the Navy and Marines. Do you mean there is some program under way to introduce key personnel in the Navy to the potential of VRD technology? Or by fleet, is BA refering to F-18 squadrons? And by introduce, is Boeing implying something more than just an informational drive - could they be suggesting an actual contract to supply F-18s with VRD technology is on the cards?????? Was this "special" on Boeing's own corporate TV channel? Some wonderful possibilities to mull over....
