Glad to have you back from the "Banana Republics" Captain. Now, as far as BOC goes, here's the scoop as best I can tell:
BOC is indeed interested in the food market. They, together with an ozone manufacture, are marketing a closed loop system that is suitable for the chiller in a poultry operation. Basically, the system uses ozone (together with chlorine, I think) to help reduce the "crud" and bacteria in the chiller. The system, as I understood it from their sales rep at the poultry show, allows the chilled water to be re-used, because of the filtration system. It is WATER REUSE that I believe BOC to be doing, not microbial kill on the chickens themselves. However, you should note that BOC sells GAS, be it ozone or any other type of gas. I just spoke with a huge chicken processor this morning about it. He told me that they are not going to buy the BOC system because then they're stuck having to buy ozone gas from them. And, my friends, THAT'S how BOC makes money -- on the gas they sell. The Eco-Pure System does not -- repeat DOES NOT -- require the purchase of ozone gas. The Eco-Pure System takes regular oxygen and converts it into ozone. By the way, several gas companies are interested in OZON because they too would like our systems to require a gas purchase so they could sell gas. That's it for now. Good luck and go OZON!
