...I take the doctor for his word.....That's a large Jewish community....many thousands........plus things are evolving very rapidly in NY with widespread testing only very recently. Perhaps the numbers have not caught up yet...He recommends treatment VERY early .......perhaps even before positive tests are confirmed but when the first obvious symptoms are expressed...Clearly he thinks that is KEY to not having the virus progress to the point where hospitalization is needed.............you didn't perceive all this when you listened to him????.......what exactly did you get out of what he said? ....symptoms..........TEST............wait several days for results..............hospitalization........................... If that is the progression, he suggests to start treatment immediately upon symptoms........and so far, hospitalization is then not required.
