I think this is Trump's problem and every other governor who is not listenting. They hear the projections and think to themselves, "This can't be right. It must be some academic mambo jumbo. How come China didn't get to have millions of sick people."

But what they don't realize is that China took a scorched earth policy towards the contagion precisely because they grasped the gravity of the situation. And that is what saved them.

Let's see how it goes. My short term projection is that the US will overtake Italy by Friday, and that there will be ~200k cases by Monday morning. If I am off, then there is much less to worry about.
