I read somewhere, (don't have the link) but the reason for the death spike in Italy was due to them counting every death as Covid19. Autopsies were not done. Used to support the shutdown.

I recall something similar being posted here but the essence was that they counted the deaths differently than other countries. If memory serves me correctly, Italy counted all deaths if someone had Wuhan, other countries culled out deaths that may be attributed to other severe underlying health issues.
