I use the Johns Hopkins site--and they just updated their data. The most startling fact is that they indicated the worldwide number had increased by 12,606 and the USA # increased by 4,871--simply meaning the US number represents nearly 40% of the increase.

Who would think that removing all restrictions on crowds would be a good idea. They just reported that Louisiana increase in confirmed cases if #1---and what have we just seen happen in Louisiana--the mother of all crowds---Mardi Gras!
