Craig and All: I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Compaq's acquisition of Digital Equipment Corp.(DEC) See: biz.yahoo.com Had DEC, prior to this merger, announced who their fibre channel switch provider was going to be? Seems that I recall something about this but I could easily be getting DEC confused with Data General. Anyhow, it looks to me as if we are not going to be waiting nearly as long as we once were regarding a switch provider announcement by Compaq, due to the fact that they have quickly catapulted themselves into higher echelons of workstation technology. Comments? Craig
