Trump bears direct responsibility for every patient who lacks a respirator. He needs to use his presidential authority to order private sector production of respirators under the Defense Control Act. He should have done it long ago. What the f*ck is he waiting for?

He wants people to die. That's why he hasn't used the Defense Control Act.
