Off Topic: John, I could just let my liege's words, Mark S., reflect my opinion... :0) But let's just say that I'm not quite a libertarian, but I'm certainly a pragmatist. I would venture that Clinton may have done more for the Chinese and Indonesians than he has actually done for the American people. I certainly can't see how his legacy will be remembered. But a few things that Clinton has given us is the disaster in Somalia where he and his administration refused to provide armored support even though requested by the local commander. He has given us Bosnia where we were supposed to be out years ago. He has given us Filegate where an ex-bar bouncer was made head of white house security and subsequently over 1000+ personal files were violated for political reasons. We had Travelgate where his friends, the Thomasons (distant relatives of mine, in fact), were given the white house travel office at the expence of long standing employees. Then they brought false and malicious charges against these folks to cover up the palace coup. John, what Clinton has provided America is the Arkansas political machine, but on a grander scale. I personally have nothing against him personally, except I get sick of seeing his aides and friends continue to be indicted and convicted, while we believe he or his wife are never involved. But maybe you should have asked a similiar question when the Iran-Contra scandals were going on with Reagan... "Just what are the liberals asking from this man".... :0) On the hill... memories are long and many conservative are delighted to treat the liberals to some of their own medicine. Call it Kharma. What is important is to solve the situation with some semblance of national leadership intact and focused on what is coming down the pike. Regards, Ron
