Based on the limited numbers of Covid patients in California with reported age (76% of the known 4,980 infections):

Probably few of the 0 to 17 age group show symptoms when infected with Covid - and there is no age preference.

or Covid may prefer 50 to 64 year olds;

or 50 to 64 year olds recklessly get exposed more;

or 50 to 64 year olds have access to more testing;

or there's not enough data to be statistically significant.
