Another “superquestion” is - what is the true incidence of the disease? If 80-90% of the cases are mild or asymptomatic, then we may be building up high levels of herd immunity without even knowing it. I think this is far from a given, but a decent probability. If you remember, this was my “original” explanation for the differences in mortality between Hubei and other parts of China. We would be very lucky if that’s the case.

Serological surveys will give us the answer very soon.

If herd immunity rates will prove high, IMHO that would be a great reason to be even more careful and NOT get sick. Why be one of the last to die in an epidemic which may prove to be a one shot deal?
