My daughter, living bunker style in Nyack, part of the greater NYC area, has been disgusted by the complacency of New Yorkers. She called today to say that the public is finally starting to wear gloves. But they also are just peeling them off and throwing them on the ground outside stores. She took a drive around town with friends and saw blue plastic gloves tossed everywhere.
