You are assuming that the reporting is accurate. I see a lot of evidence that it is not. You are also assuming that the hotspots in the making will be put down. That will be lucky.

However, all that said, we should expect to see a steep drop off in two weeks after lockdowns. Since most states instituted that around March 24/25 then yes, next week should mark a definitive turning point.
