Is it truly so hard for you to believe that MSFT has superior technology in any areas?

Oh, no. I believe that Word and Excel are the best, most hyperfunctional word processor and spreadsheet ever. What I'm always hearing here, though, is that MSFT has superiour technology in all areas. The competition is doomed, except in antitrust matters, where they're all a bunch of whiners, space cadets, or ad hominem of your choice. Meanwhile, I have this fond memory of running an OS that never crashed. Didn't have a world of hyperfunctional software that came with it though. There also wasn't a constant stream of PR guys saying how the next version would have about a thousand more features, and it'd be more reliable too. Oh, and that it would be taking over the world. Simpler times.

Anyway, didn't you find it interesting how Fester's comments paralleled yours?

Cheers, Dan.
