Another bit of advice that makes sense to me. If you start to have a sore throat, gargle - preferably with antiseptic, or even lemon. Begin (and continue) sipping hot liquids - and add lemon. This helps wash the virus into the stomach where the acids can kill them - before they can get into the lungs.
