Um, yeah, except that Dexmier isn't quoted in the article this article appears to refer to. The author states that Dexmier (I think this is the spelling) 'HOPES to be positive by q2 and overall for 98', emphasis mine, and not a direct quote of the author's words but from memory. This is the author saying this, not the CFO. Even if it were a quote directly from the guy, hoping and stating unambiguously are two very different things. I will be pleasantly surprised if informix shows a profit for '98. I'd much rather put my $ on Oracle coming out of the current slump. C
