Hi old 'n cranky,

I may be naive, but I'm really not kidding. I'm asking...

I know it is relatively easy to attach molecules that fluoresce to PEG chains like what NNVC connects their ligands on. These molecules are routinely used in fluorescing dyes to detect cancer, etc.

Granted, these dyes are usually visible because they aggregate on tumors.

How, exactly, they could be made to display differently or be separated when they hook onto target viruses, etc. I don't know...but someone with experience in the field might not see that as a huge challenge.

On the other hand...I could be wrong. (It's happened before...ask my wife.)

And maybe it would be cost prohibitive...I don't know.

One thing I do know is that this company has a severe shortage of credibility...along with a shortage of cash and time.

Please explain why you think the idea is outlandish and ludicrous...rather than assuming it is obvious.
