I’m reading your posts with interest Sun because you actually had it (Ay Carumba virus) and “the art of war” would suggest Chinese strategy involved. Never fight your enemy where the are strongest. In US case this would be the military. And second do not tell them you are at war. That has obvious advantages. I voted for Trump but I’m not a sycophant. He declared a trade war a while back. It seems to me we are experiencing what a real trade war would look and feel like. China saying “oh you want a trade war huh? Ok.....” Discounting chiefs perception of stats is riskier than trading futures. I believe in this case you both have a point. The idea of “new cases” only describes the rate and accuracy of testing and the logical extrapolation of that semantic anomaly suggests only that the acute cases are the right tail of a very large bell curve. So this would indicate the possibility that stats are being presented in a way that might serve certain interests Which we can speculate on given there are things that don’t make sense. At this point if it’s only taken out out 7k on the Dow and it’s as severe as is advertised we either have a long way to go down or it’s not really that catastrophic. No doubt having said any of this that it’s a nasty virus. This is a way longer post than I like to do forgive me.
