I abandoned the USLV trade last Thursday. Posted today on a couple of new "Coronavirus Portfolio" picks... TK, ENBL, ENLC

Other tanker stocks haven't kept up with DHT... as day rates ran up from 125K on Friday to 180K on Monday. Moves are big enough they'll make all the tankers whole real fast... TK has a lot of hulls... and massive leverage has them losing money with rates too low... but with rates this high and the long timelines necessary to resolve the surplus... should mean good things.

Similar issues in the oil patch... with the right midstream providers... Oil price changes don't alter the long term contracts on nat gas pipelines... they just keep spinning out cash... but share prices crater with everything else... until the market notices they keep on paying out... even after cutting the divvies.

ENBL and ENLC my picks...

In the "paper" trade in gold and silver ETFs... the pace in the trade fell way off... and the patterns on the chart evidenced machines deliberately capping their moves...

Nothing in the fundamentals gives any reason for "paper" silver or gold to have stalled out... have only seen a widening the gap between the "paper" price and real silver, which continued trading higher in the real market for physical until Monday... when a little bit of supply seems to have shown up in the market again.

Did see a bit... maybe Friday... about Comex doing a deal with Royal Canadian Mint to provide supply of gold and silver to fill the void there... but haven't seen anything else about it since.

For now... I'm avoiding the gold and silver trade in the "paper" based vehicles... because of the obvious manipulation of the market... direct price intervention in the market... which makes the market a fraud.

They WILL try to run both back down to the recent lows IMO... even though there is no way in hell that move can be supported by the facts in the trade... but they'll do it anyway... because they can... and probably because if they don't it will mean that they're stuck in losing trades.
