70% drop in a stock today. Proves again that I am not a fair let alone good stock picker. Here the company claimed they had secure patents; had a product with big potential; many analysts and legal experts were sure the company will win the court challenge from a generic companies. But they lost the case and stock fell. I am lucky one more time that rules got me out long ago. the idea that trend is your friend still hold true. Market is lot smarter than individuals like me. The rule- do not buy under 50DMA is good rule. Sell when 50DMA is violated is good one too. Only issue is how to define violation of 50DMA. Depending upon factors it may be intra-day drop or close below or drop below the low of close below day etc. Best regards
