I am not fluent in technology but have been following this story for quite a while (SVGI)...my impressions to this point in time are:

1.) SVGI is THE supplier to INTC for the lithography machines used in the critical layers to this point.

2.) I also remember the Japanese order (Nikon, Cannon?) as an order for "evaluation"...I don't remember anything about INTC using a machine that competels with SVGI "step and scan" as their main machine...the stock would have gapped down like 30% on that news IMO.

3.) Both Nikon and Cannon stated they ran into technical problems with their advanced DUV machines (steppers? scanners?) and subsequently "pushed out" orders for Cymer lasers for this reason.

4.) "Mr. T" states that the "customers" (re. INTC) "want these machines"... in response to a question about the weak backlog by analysts at the conference call. "They will order"... he implied that the "weak" backlog was really a misunderstanding by the analysts about SVGI's relationship with its customers.

5.) "Mr. T" also continues to state that no one compares to SVGI's step & scan for critical layers, and for smaller line widths going forward.

So...much is "Mr. T's" opinion... we've all heard about the "suspect" management before and yet it seems so much rests right there!

Anyway...these are a summation of my thoughts FROM MEMORY as someone who follows this story very closely...but someone that is not inlightened technologically...just from what I'm reading and hearing.
