Clam Clam,

I agree with your prognosis. This company has ramped up its sales force with the same fashion as Siebel. The thing that will provide growth beyond "enterprise" licenses is NSP-based CTI. Genesys has sold this deal to the joint venture of New Brunswick Teleph and Bell Canada. It will realized recurring revenue based on the venture successfully selling the CTI services to small call centers. I think 400 Bell Canada sales reps have been trained to sell the services. It is my understanding that some other big carriers are looking at the same concept. I think MCI is evaluating but I am not sure.

The one risk you should be aware of is that these guys have had to work throught some quality problems with the product and support. It is my understanding that the company has improved its standing in the last 6 months.

I have added to my existing position and now am 50% invested. I will continue to average down if the price continues to drop. It is my understanding that some early investors are selling currently. This is likely adding to general market pressure on the stock. Your are correct in that it is not cheap but I believe that the technology is more than defensible.

Regards
