Rex, What is your assessment of the earnings release?? - Diluted and pre-tax earnings per share of .26 and .91 cents, compared with .35 and .96 in 1996. - Total 4th quarter 1997 net revenue down 14% vs 4th quarter 1996. - BMP 4th quarter 1997 revenue grew 30% vs 4th quarter 1996. - The Asian issue and seasonality may result in a flat first quarter. - BMPs backlog at the end of the 4th quarter was $4.7M vs $8.0 at the end of the 3rd quarter. I am most concerned about the BMP backlog decreasing by over 40% as compared to the end of the 3rd quarter. Brad
