Not likely they'll 'walk back' the powers...the powers will have to be Taken Back...and it won't be easy..

in re:the online proctors...that might help curb the cheating that has been going on in the classroom setting...

but the retention of videos and data, in perpetuity, and resale in some cases....that is bad, very bad

back in the day, it was common enough, writing on shirt sleeves, crib notes, peeking at the adjacent person's paper, having someone else take the test in large college classrooms, etc...
