SKM seem to be kicking up! Now selling for $8.00. Last week it was $7.25. Ten percent in one week is not bad!

> ASIAN ADRS RISE IN QUIET TRADE, GOLD ISSUES EASE

NEW YORK, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Asian ADRs rallied Monday on the back of overnight gains in their home markets.

The Asian ADRs -- American Depositary Receipts -- stood out in a quiet market dominated by concern over a sex scandal involving President Bill Clinton.

At a news conference Monday, Clinton strongly denied allegations he had an affair with a White House intern and then encouraged her to lie about it under oath.

"Things are really quiet after Clinton's conference," an emerging markets trader said. "I don't think people know what to make of it."

Asian ADRs also were quiet ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday in the region.

Latin American issues were sluggish amid low volume. The ING Barings Latin American index of 122 leading shares was off 0.19 point, or 0.12 percent, at 163.23 points.

South African and Zambian gold shares eased, reflecting a slide in the price of the precious metal.

Here are some highlights among emerging market ADRs:
