Freeus, Hi!!! <<<<< Compac merger with Digital bad for Dell or good or neutral???>>>> Shooting from the hip and without much thought....the first thing that enters my mind is Mike's quote: "we find this amusing"...IMO, this may be another consolidation and means to pick up future market share....the near term vs. long term???....I'd be guessing.....but, CPQ supposedly sees their technology a plus.....this I gathered about 30 minutes ago watching the rundown on CNBC....I heard of it as I got out of the shower this AM (Bruce Francis) and was not surprised...I would really like to hear what Dell has to say...as you know...that is what I finally use for my conclusions.....and, I am quite sure he will be asked this same question a few times.
