The stability of IDTI despite the recent run up and pull-backs in some tech stocks suggests you may be right. However, sales and earnings are expected to be pretty flat this quarter before they move up latter in the year. That period of momentum building presents some risk that IDTI will pull back during the next could of months if the market gets rocked or new investors dry up on lack of new news. whether we get a pull-back is irrelevant overal because, IMO, the longer-term trend is up. If the market does pull back, then it will be a time to buy. It is also a good time to buy right now - trying to pick every twist in the stock price is speculative and creates the chance to miss out on a sudden move up. If mutual funds or instituional investors decide to buy at an higher than normal level, something that could well happen, IDTI could move up rapidly.

The thing to watch is how well the ramp in production of the C6 and other products is going, the overal BtB, and general trends in the industry. The TA of the semi indexes looks strongly positive at this point. That's pretty significant considering all the pessimism for the tech stocks.
