<<how much gold/pgms could be suspended/dissolved in water?>>
FWIW, there is a reference to a "well water" sample from the Oro Grande on a page entitled "Analytical Report" contained within the WRITTEN Thomas Report (summary can be seen online at gpgi.com.

The sample contained 0.007opt Au and 0.003opt Pt. My understanding is that it's relatively easy to get these goodies out of the water.
In case anyone needs the Basis of the 0.007 OPT that I used in my Napkin Calculcations! ( two post back!) .22 GPT is about ( a chucabout ) a QUARTER GRAM PER TON, relax ...feel comfortable..put your feet up and stay awhile! Notbadatall/at all.

LINK from Thomas :
<<Geology
The main ore body of the Oro Grande is the remnant of a laramide age, composite batholith, which has been sheared, hydrothermally altered, and mineralized.

Three major mineralized shear zones exist on the private property. These are characterized by hematitic alternations via hydrothermal fluids which have been active at several times since the onset of the laramide. These major shear zones can be measured to about 3000 feet length on the surface and 200 feet width. Significant nobel metal mineralizations occur within these shear zones. The shear zones are approximately parallel and strike about northeast. Major dip-slip faults cross cut the shear zones on the north and south ends of the property. These strike roughly northwest and are post laramide. >>
Another Arizona Company Chief Geo Guy with 21 claim deposits had a discussion with me on the importance of the LARAMIDE! See his Majic Rectangle it is marked by many such age Laramides and was the key to his staking for 30 years:
