NNBM ZOOM Reunion/Happy Hour Minutes - April 4, 2020

here's a little recap for you who didn't get into the ZOOM bar...

we covered more topics and got more updates in an hour than
we could in a whole day posting back and forth on SI. we did
a lot of reminiscing about others we haven't seen for years too.
we almost had an appearance by dalin but he didn't make it.
meeting was called to order by Chief Justice of Sioux Nation,
cautious_optimist, about half way into the meeting - using the
commemorative gavel that he won a couple months ago. the
black swan looked like a cross between a young clint eastwood
and chuck norris (the actor not sioux pal). most of us had not seen
his face before - rugged-handsome. he said his bougainvillea was
doing great but he couldn't pronounce bougainvillea in the proper
spanish vernacular... his french, english, chinese and latin kept
getting in the way.<g> his daughter's home with him from austrailia
safe and sound and bored.
we talked about comiskey but we didn't know much about him to
share. also dealie and voltaire... we're thinking about inviting
some others next time - to catch up on their current lives...
maybe bonnuss? maybe raven??
clappy shared some of the grief he's been going through trying to
apply for some of the available stimulus checks being invented by
federal, state and city governments. he has 17 employees he's
worrying about. rose caught us up on some of the haida gwaii's
dealings with the pandemic - no cases on her island so far.
we talked a little about dylan's new song/masterpiece, "Murder Most Foul"
and rob's bro-in-law, -- tom smith's -- new album, "Planting in a Drought".
i missed some of the conversation and that's about all i can remember
NOW. we're going to try it again next week... maybe friday. we'll be more
experienced. maybe you can find a way to get hooked up on zoom with
your crowmagnon internet by then?
maybe some others can add some of the stuff i missed to the minutes?
or comments about a future happy hour?
i had a local power outage @ 55 minutes into the happy hour which lasted
an hour and a half so for me that was the EOM.
