tanks for the minutes of the NNBM reunion.
so sorry that i could not get a connection.
i'll work on resolving the internet issues if possible.
my CrowMagnon Age internet was barely functional last night.
it is lousy at the best of times,
but in the Time Of The Plague (TOTP),
it's been even more dreadful than usual
as everyone surfs around from their respective households.
no doubt there were a ton of Zoom gatherings happening
simultaneously...
good to hear that the NNBM peeps are holding up through the TOTP.
it's been mostly quiet in this part of the world (Nova Scotia).
our Premier signed off his last video address with the command,
"Stay The Blazes Home".
Nova Scotians being as they are,
many memes quickly sprang up all over FB and Twitter,
and at least two different "Stay The Blazes Home" songs
composed and recorded and posted
to the Nova Scotia Kitchen Jam group on FB.
have i ever mentioned that Nova Scotian humour
is one of the things i like most about living here?
also, seems like everyone plays an instrument
and sings a song.
that's been proven over the past week on the above-mentioned
Kitchen Jam FB group.
whodda thunk there were so many guitars, fiddles, harmonicas,
accordions, ukeleles, banjos, bagpipes, and hand drums
per thousand floating around in the population?
you can take away our mobility
but don't take away our musical instruments!
anyhow, all is well.
i'll be starting to plant vegetable seeds in the new cold frame
later today.
gardening, birdwatching, photographing insects,
and wading up and down my brook,
may be my main preoccupation over summer
depending on how things play out in the coming weeks.
basically, things are about the same as usual for me...
the hermit living off in my cave, only without my weekly music jam
and errand run to town.
have not been off my property in 3 weeks & 3 days.
i know how to Stay The Blazes Home.
maybe see all of you on the 10th
if i get the zoom working.
