Actually, I'm pretty sure corona viruses are a separate category. The flu we experience each year has an H1N1 classification. The genetic markers are different from CVs. However, I agree totally with your premise of getting existing anti-viral treatments onto the market right now and using them early after diagnosis. In addition to hydroxychloroquine, there are a couple of the AIDS anti-virals that have shown benefit. My guess is that as soon as the HCQ/Zinc protocol is recommended, it will be hoarded and never make it to the rural areas such as mine. My own attempt to buy zinc on Amazon is still backordered. Ordered 5 weeks ago.
