By the way James Phelps MD in A February 2020 conference had a great slide on blue blocking sunglasses which he gives all his patients with mood disorder. The first slide showed that patients sent to a dark room at 8 pm until 6 am had a large spike of melatonin if not allowed to put the lights on. Next he had the same patients spend the night doing chores and studying and melatonin never increased .Finally the same patients put on blue blocking sun glasses at 8 pm and spent all night studying. This last groups melatonin went up just as high as if they slept all night or spent the night in total darkness The wearing of these glasses after 8 pm does wonders for his patients with mood disorders
