You live in Little Rock? That is the very epicenter of Billydom. What is it really like there, anyway? Do you like it?
I don't want to disappoint you, but I am not a writer with a book proposal of any sort, really. (If you were referring to that post last night, it was a wry joke of sorts.) I majored in English because it seemed an expedient way to graduate at the time (I loved to read, but not to study). Those were very exciting years we were both in college, and I was a little distracted!! My real interests as far as subjects were archaeology and anthropology and architecture and child development. I am mostly a wife and the mother of a teenaged daughter, and I do stained glass pieces in my spare time, but the ones I design are very big and intricate and take a long time to finish, because it is very tedious work.
I do really enjoy writing, but mostly poetry, and only when I am very happy or very sad. What kind of things do you like to write? Do you know about the poetry thread at SI? I do all my writing for free, right here, and unfortunately I am more successful at this than picking good stocks so far, but this is all very exciting and fun. |
