What could be the positive effects of Covid-19 ?
A crash is always painful but also has its positive effects.

Past crashes serve as lessons to what could happen post-Covid 19.

I saw it before. Post Dot-com bubble bursting, unexpectedly, capital was invested into building mobile networks in emerging markets.

Any country. Any tiny little island could afford mobile technology.

The technology had got so cheap -after the bubble burst- that countries with low Average revenue per user (ARPU), could profitably build mobile networks.

And that new investment in new networks, all happened having a dyed in the wool, regulatyed utilities dyed, fixed line networks that were the norm as it is the electricity sector in emerging markets.

I am studying that, right now, because (self-servingly) it may be the case that renewable energy will boom in emerging markets.

A crash send capital in new directions. It acts as a catalytic for capital allocation.
