Snow has fallen in this storm at elevations as low as 2,500 feet in Northern California. One to 2 inches of snow fell within an hour Sunday in Shasta County, north of Redding. Another 1 to 2 feet or more of snow is possible in the southern Sierra through Thursday. Parts of the highest elevations in Southern California may pick up another foot of snow.
