And the CA mountains are getting dumped on with a winter storm. I thought winter was over? More global warming, I suppose..

Snow has fallen in this storm at elevations as low as 2,500 feet in Northern California. One to 2 inches of snow fell within an hour Sunday in Shasta County, north of Redding.

Another 1 to 2 feet or more of snow is possible in the southern Sierra through Thursday. Parts of the highest elevations in Southern California may pick up another foot of snow. Snow may fall at elevations as low as 4,000 feet, which may impact travel over the Grapevine through Wednesday.
