Not much action of the diamonds today. Low volume. Prices sitting
still. Except KLA.SUF also moved up a bit. I assume from Canadian
situation. SA seems to have brought it down to 12.00 but recent
notice of Can activity has bounced it up a little. Didn't check
total volume for the day on KLA but for the time I was able to watch
the screen, it was the only diamond stock that came across consistently. And up.
Does anyone have a date for drilling by WSP to begin? They've got a
drill on site and I thought, from my last chat with Sophie, that they
could go ahead with drilling even if materials, fuel coming in on the
winter road was slow. I know from past years that start up is slow.
Weather, ice, drill setup, putting in casings, etc. Has anyone talked
to Sophie lately and asked about a probable date or if they'd wait
for supplies from Yellowknife before beginning drilling.
Walt, what's the snowpack like this year? WSP's property is somewhat
off the ice road and, if I remember correctly, it could take up to
a week to walk in the heavy equipment.
And last, but not least, are short positions on the VSE issued every
day, once a week, once a month? |
