these analysts targets unless you know the specific analyst always seems to be a function of the current share price. I would only trust a target if i could understand how the analyst get there.
Price targets are pretty meaningless for analysts, you are best to ignore them. The key thing is the recommendation, not the price target. The analysts don't buy and sell stocks, so in that sense the price target is not key for them. It's just a requirement of the job placed on them by their bosses.
You will seldom see an analyst change a rating on a stock because it has gone up and reached the price target.
