To all,

I own a lot more DELL than CPQ, however, how can you people be in any way disappointed by this merger? This company has dedicated itself to an aggressive business plan. If you're too much of a little girl to withstand growing pains which may produce MSFT-like monopolistic qualities, then go buy a sh*@load of P&G, Coke, or Gillette.

This is a high growth industry, people, which requires significant steps to sustain growth. Aquisitions are the most effective way to do this. This management team is the most capable group there is to absorb this DEC integration. They are aggressively seeking higher margins, and this the best way to get it: on the high-end !!

I would also disagree with the attitude that thiis is "dead money" . Wall street is not going to wait 3 quarters to determine accretion. Rather, they will begin accumulation soon, if they haven't already. If they think this is a bad deal, you will know it as soon as tommorrow. Today was just manipulation and mad scrambling for the DEC shorts and CPQ longs.

Good Luck,
Joe
