Having worked in low income communities, we need to have more public health nurses to diagnose and treat people who may not be aware they have an underlying condition. They can also provide education on how to avoid or best treat chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure. Offer reproductive health care information to women and girls. Info for those who lost health insurance when they became unemployed. nytimes.com
